Do you offer body piercings?
Yes, we do offer body piercings.
What do you need to get tattooed?
The State of Florida requires that you have a government issued photo ID in order to get tattooed. If you don't have your ID, we can accept your passport. Basically, we need a government document with your birth date, and photo verification that it is you. Driver's license, passport, military ID, birth certificate, etc. We also have a release form that must be filled out before getting tattooed
I am under 18, can I get tattooed?
Yes, but we are very strict on what we will tattoo on a minor. No visible tattoos (forearms, necks, hands) and no tattoos in private areas (bikini zone or high up on the ribs.) In order to get tattooed you must have a form notarized THE DAY OF your tattoo. You can print one out at home by clicking HERE or come in to the shop and pick one up. The DAY OF the tattoo, your parent or guardian must accompany you. We will require both your ID as well as your parent or guardian's. Your parent or guardian must approve of the design as well as the placement of the design before we begin tattooing. We know this is strict, but if you can't wait to get your tattoo, we want to make sure we are protected.
How do you price tattoos?
For smaller, single session tattoos, we can price them out in person. Just come into the shop, speak to an artist, and we can help you out. We do not give prices over the phone, and we do not give prices through email. For larger tattoos that will take multiple sessions (sleeves, back pieces, etc.), we may or may not charge hourly.
Do I need an appointment or can I just come in?
Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcomed as well. You may call any of the shops for availability before coming in. For larger custom tattoos, your artist may recommend setting up a consultation appointment, where you can then leave a deposit and book your first tattoo appointment.
Why leave a deposit?
Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are required for custom or multi-session tattoos and are usually $50-$100. They serve to hold your appointment spot and is applied to the last session of your tattoo.
What if I cant make my appointment?
Call us as soon as possible at the location your appointment is booked. Even if it's the same day, it is better than not calling at all. If you left a deposit and call us within 48 hours, we can transfer it to the next appointment (at the artist’s discretion). If you no call/no show you will lose your deposit and will have to leave another one if you want to get tattooed.
What is your shop minimum?
Our minimum is $60. We absolutely WILL NOT tattoo for anything less than that. If you are working with a budget, let the artist know and we can draw your design accordingly.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash as well as major credit cards. We also offer gift certificates.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes we do! This requires an in person consultation with one of our artists to make sure it’s possible to cover your existing piece.
Do you rework old tattoos?
Yes we do! This also requires an in person consultation with an artist. With old tattoos, coverups might be the best option. If we can save it, we definitely will, but we’ll be honest if it isn’t possible.
When you leave the shop your tattoo will be bandaged. Leave the bandage on for about an hour. This is just to stop the initial bleeding and prevent contamination.
When you get home, remove the bandage and immediately wash your hands with an unscented, antibacterial soap like liquid gold dial or its generic equivalent. Using clean hands (no washcloths) gently wash the tattoo with Nat-A-Tat2 Gentle Foam Cleanser ( you may use the same unscented antibacterial soap instead but we highly recommend Nat-A-Tat2 Gentle foam cleanser) and rinse with warm water. The warmer the water, the easier it will be to remove the dried blood and plasma.
After cleaning your tattoo, gently pat it dry with clean paper towels, do NOT wipe it. When it’s dry you can use a small amount of Nat-A-Tat2 Organic Tattoo Lotion. Using too much ointment will interfere with the healing process, so if your tattoo is still shiny after five minutes, you have used too much. You will need to repeat this process 3-4 times a day for the first two weeks; then use as needed.
Note: Nat-A-Tat2 is the only aftercare we recommend for the healing process of your tattoo; it is all natural, organic and vegan.
For the first three to four weeks you will have to avoid the sun, the beach and pools. Submerging your tattoo in water or exposing it to the sun will destroy it. That being said, you can still take showers, just no baths. During the healing process, it may itch from time to time, do NOT scratch or pick at it. You can try patting your tattoo with your hand to alleviate the itching. Allow any scabs to fall off on their own; you don’t need to help things along by picking or pulling at them.
A tattoo heals much like a sunburn, so try to wear loose fitting clothing while it’s healing. Anything rubbing against it will irritate it resulting in longer healing time. If you have pets, their hair has a tendency to get stuck in fresh tattoos while lying in bed so covering it with a non stick pad/bandage while you sleep will help.
